Why the 'read browsing history' permission

We understand the recent update by Chrome which asks for the read browsing history permissions and that was because we are using the ChatGPT tokens to emulate your local ChatGPT environment in the sidebar of YouTube. This uses the 'tabs' permission which is broad in Chrome's eyes and that's why it has shown as we have access to all the browsing history.
We realised this and have immediately pushed an update which does not require this permission. Please give us the chance to make this better.

Please add the ability to disable the ChatGPT feature and remove it from the sidebar of Youtube.
